Whether you're a student or practicing artist, business and professional skills are a necessity for achieving success in a competitive artistic market. In this course, you will discover how to set your art career and long-term business objectives on the right path, and how to identify and articulate your core strengths. Topics include managing time, setting goals, marketing and promoting your work, and financial planning and record keeping. You will also learn how to present your work to galleries and employers, form relationships with them, and wisely negotiate contracts.
