Description

Have you wanted to incorporate art into your life, but are unsure of where to start? This workshop allows you to explore in a non-threatening, expectation-free environment. Three prompts, focused on the concept of mark making, encourage you to expand your notion of what it means to make art. The emphasis is on exploration and discovery rather than on finished pieces of work. Additionally, to help you get started we review the basics of a variety of art making terms and materials. You may come away surprised and ready to confidently integrate art into your life. Come prepared with an open mind and plenty of questions!

This course takes place at the Westerly Education Center.
