Summer 2026 Pre-College Online Scholarship Application

A limited number of scholarships are available for the ONLINE Pre-College Program. Scholarships are available for students interested in taking the program during our summer 2026 term. RISD CE programs do not qualify for federal or state financial aid through the FAFSA. Award determinations are based on demonstrated financial need and applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. Recipients typically come from families reporting a collective income of approximately $55,000 or less annually. 

The application requires documentation demonstrating annual household income, including this year’s most recent tax return. Although the application does not require a qualifying income, we encourage only those students who feel they have faced significant financial hardship to submit a scholarship application. Individual household circumstances are taken into consideration.

To be considered for a scholarship please submit a completed scholarship application to RISD Continuing Education by the posted scholarship application deadline of February 2, 206.  Late applications will not be processed.  Applicants must be a US Citizen or have a permanent resident status.

Award notification will occur on March 1, 2026. Applicants will receive a decision via their primary email on file and may track the status of the application in their student portal.
