Painting architectural subjects is a way to add a human element to landscapes and contextual information to a scene, offering clues about geographic location and time period. Learn how to translate the angular and geometric shapes of buildings into a 2D image. The class will cover using linear perspective, two-point perspective and color theory. Come prepared with foundational painting skills in the medium of your choice (watercolor, acrylic or oil), as this course will focus on the foundations of rendering architecture.

Prerequisites

Students must be an adult age 18 or older to participate.
