Course Description

Elevate your fashion creations with surface design! Use techniques such as embroidery, dyeing and printing to activate fabric and fashion accessories. Guided by an industry expert, you'll analyze the effectiveness of patterns, colors and textures. Then, create designs that can be used in your own fashion accessories. This course is intended for aspiring fashion designers, textile artists and anyone passionate about the intersection of art and fashion.

Necessary Supplies

Students are responsible for purchasing their own art supplies, equipment, software subscriptions, and/or books. For most classes, the cost is under $75 (estimate). A supply list will be available on the course site in Canvas at least 30 days prior to the first day of class.
