Course Description

Illustrators bring memorable characters to life, dreaming up concepts for comic books, games, television, movies and toys. Effective character design is inspired by personality, behavior and a compelling backstory. Explore fundamental shapes and color theory to develop three dynamic characters ready to pop off the page.

Notes

Section is only open to participants in the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) program. For all other students please see course 9267 Character Design.

Prerequisites

Students must be 13-17 years of age.
