RISD CE kids course: Mythological Creatures

Join us on a search for mythological creatures that are -- or are not -- inhabiting our local environment. Mermaids, Moby Dick, giant squids, "unicorned" narwhals and other sea creatures all exist in local legends. Wild descriptions, close encounters and the power of imagination have brought these creatures to life through the creative minds and hands of artists throughout time. In this camp, you'll reveal these legendary creatures through paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures and mixed media, convincing viewers that the creatures in the depths of Narragansett Bay really ARE real!
