RISD CE kids course: Digital Wizardry

In this fast-moving digital media course, students explore the amazing potential of vector graphics and take their first steps toward becoming digital ninjas. Using the powerful and surprisingly intuitive graphic program Adobe Illustrator, they experiment with digital drawing and graphic illustration and make original images for screen or print output. They begin by learning the application’s interface, proper file management, editorial workflow and shortcuts, and practice screen agility with a tablet. Before long, they’re drawing posters, portraits, even their favorite birds and beasts.
