Course Description

RISD CE kids course: Art Abundance

Art is in abundance all around us -- especially in the natural surroundings found at Tillinghast Place in Barrington, RI. In this week-long camp, young artists will explore concepts of abundance and conservation in our surroundings and in our culture, and will create 2D and 3D artwork inspired by nature. Model and mold making, as well as traditional block printing, will allow students to create multiple reproductions of their own designs. Throughout the week, students will use an abundance of creativity while exploring a wide variety of traditional and nontraditional design and artmaking techniques.
