Course Description

Artwork by Grace F.

Get inspired by classical painting while working in a contemporary medium. Join us in the digital workspace for lessons that draw from time-honored painting techniques. Using software like Photoshop and Procreate, learn how those historical concepts apply when using pixels instead of paint. Explore the possibilities this medium provides for artistic growth and expression. Experiment with brushes, layers, and importing real paint. Each assignment will activate your intuition, observation skills, and imagination in meaningful ways.

  • Use traditional painting concepts in a digital medium.
  • Import and manipulate images and create images from scratch.
