Course Description

Well-designed interior spaces are functional, aesthetically pleasing and sustainable. Interior designers look at scale, proportion, light and movement through the space to create interiors that meet client expectations of coordinating color, texture, fixtures, and furniture. Respond to a design brief to create working and living spaces and draft concepts for future model projects.

Notes

Section is only open to participants in the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) program. For all other students please see course 9295 Start Designing Interiors.

Prerequisites

Students must be 13-17 years of age.
