Course Description

Graphic designers are visual linguists and creative communicators. Conceptualize, plan and execute designs that convey your desired messages or ideas. Use real-world design examples to explore the fundamentals of graphic design. Learn techniques like mind-mapping, research and concept development, then complete the design process using sketches, iteration and critique to create thoughtful images and designs.

Section is only open to participants in the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) program. For all other students please see course 9258 Start Graphic Design.

Prerequisites

Students must be 13-17 years of age.
