Course Description

Collage by Clare Purcell

Collage is a versatile and expressive art form that blends fine art and illustration by incorporating found materials, recycled objects and everyday ephemera. The course traces collage’s evolution from early 20th-century pioneers to contemporary approaches, highlighting its potential for artistic and social expression.

You’ll experiment with techniques like cut paper, photomontage and textured surfaces through demos, guided exercises and hands-on projects. The course focuses on layering, composition and personal storytelling  to help you cultivate your unique visual language.
