Course Description

Add dimension to your portfolio with sculpture! Working with found materials and 3D media, you will reimagine everyday objects and create new ones from scratch. Interpret the significance of everyday objects and re-engineer them to create new meaning. Experiment with additive and subtractive processes in media such as clay and plaster. Consider how scale, proportion and installation can enhance your idea. Working with your hands, learn how to assemble, model and cast. Projects may include a mix of representational and conceptual approaches.
