Course Description

The sketchbook is the artist’s playground. It’s where you can try out ideas and materials without the pressure of making a complete piece. It’s where creativity grows as you prepare for final projects, or in the time between projects. Enjoy the process of filling your sketchbook through guided exercises and material explorations. Build good habits to keep your productivity going. Use your pages to create observational studies and to test ideas. The exercises in this class are designed to keep you flowing, while considering the sketchbook itself as a work of art.
