Course Description

Indigo dyeing is a traditional technique that creates beautiful, deep blue hues. Learn the basics of indigo dyeing by exploring a variety of techniques to create a set of 4 hand-dyed cotton napkins. Traditional shibori and other Japanese resist techniques will be included with hands-on help. No previous skills are necessary. Come have fun, get messy, explore, and see what you can do! Please dress appropriately, as indigo stains and will not come out. This event will happen rain or shine.
