Course Description

This course builds upon processes and techniques covered in Introduction to Screen Printing. You will be encouraged to create screen-films that are hand drawn, digitally generated, and/or a combination of digital and hand drawn. Beginning with the technical processes of altered screen filler stenciling and screen monotype, you’ll then move into building small/mobile exposure units that will enable you to generate light-sensitive and photo-based matrices.

Students should have some familiarity with screen printing or have previously taken Introduction to Screen Printing.

Prerequisites

Students must be an adult age 18 or older to participate.
