1699 - Photography Critique Intensive

Course Description

This is a concentrated, critique-based course intended for students who wish to explore their work in greater depth and receive guidance in developing their photographic eye. Students may choose to begin a new project for the course, or use this opportunity to focus on a project already in progress. The course addresses the difficulties in evaluating one's work and determining the most effective imagery for expression. Also emphasized in critique is the artist's ability to articulate their work, both verbally and in written form. Students meet on-site every other week, which provides time to make substantive progress on their projects between meetings.
