Course Description

RISD CE kids course: Acting Around

Join us to act up, act down and act around in this performance class for children. It is the art of taking words -- from music lyrics, newspapers, textbooks, poems, letters, journals and even recipes -- to create a collaborative experiment in theater. Young performers can expect lessons in mime, movement and monologue and the opportunity to improvise and interact with their classmates. Parents can expect that their child will return invigorated by exchange and a new outlet for their energy.
