Course Description

RISD CE kids course: Creature Feature

In this course, students set out to find the animals of myth and legend living around the RISD campus, from the taxidermy and entomology (the study of BUGS, that is!) at the Nature Lab to the ancient art and artifacts at the RISD Museum. Young explorers use this treasure trove of information as inspiration for a variety of visual projects, building basic art and design skills as they visually document their travels and create the myths and legends of tomorrow.
