Course Description

RISD CE kids course: Art Attack

There it is: just over the horizon, a project to be attacked and given visual reality. That is what happens in this spontaneous, sometimes crazy and sometimes thoughtful experience in artmaking, playing and being a kid. Students "attack" an idea under the watchful eyes of experienced arts educators who help them sort out good, better and best solutions for projects that are exciting and formative for budding artists. They draw, sculpt and build alongside their peers, working individually and in small groups as they design a group show for students' families.
