RISD CE watercolor painting course

This watercolor class is for students who have a basic foundation in watercolor painting and want to delve deeper into the medium and improve their skills. New techniques and skills will be introduced as you learn to work with complex subject matter. Instruction includes demonstration and peer-to-peer discussions to provide you with a focused consideration of higher-level issues of composition, color awareness, techniques for capturing light, and working through the "happy accidents" that arise in watercolor painting. The instructor's critique will offer you feedback for improving your paintings, and online discussions allow the group to share what they've learned and address common issues, while experiencing this challenging and exciting medium.
