Course Description

RISD CE kids course: Interpretive Artworks: Brave Characters

Our favorite stories are filled with characters exhibiting grit, backbone and perseverance. Peter Parker, Malala, Princess Merida and Ramona the Brave are some of the heroes in this course that uses bravery as a theme to inspire creative acts. It is an interdisciplinary (drawing, painting and sculpting) classroom where the youngest artists are encouraged to try new media and to visualize ideas that can be shared with their classmates.
