RISD CE kids course: Digital Photo Adventure

What makes a great photograph? Great photographers know how to capture a moment with a camera's best possible perspective, and how to place themselves and frame a shot for maximum effect. Students in this course learn how to make creative choices for capturing people, places and even optical illusions while making decisions about point of view, depth of field, cropping and other picture-taking essentials. They'll wrap things up by making a handmade album of their photo adventures. Note: Students must bring their own digital camera. A simple point-and-shoot model is appropriate.
