Course Description

Artwork by Emily Slapin

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the human body and its movement by learning how muscles and superficial forms relate to the underlying structure and bony landmarks. We will focus on musculature, hands and feet, plus tricky areas like the neck and armpit. Lectures on anatomy are supplemented with analysis of master drawings and drawing tutorials to provide a comprehensive understanding of the figure.

Students are encouraged to complete Human Anatomy: Introduction before taking this course.
