Course Description

Journaling is a way to record experiences, thoughts, emotions, the extraordinary, and the banal. By combining words and images we can shift meaning, create emphasis, embellish or enhance what happened. You will create a visual journal, with words, snapshots, and formal photographs, that narrates the six weeks of your life for the duration of the class. How can you visually bring to life your thoughts and emotions, along with your experiences? You can take a straightforward approach by documenting your day-to-day life, or you can create a narrative based on your truth, but with a fictional thread. Whether real or imagined, this is your story to tell.
