Course Description

Artwork by Lauren C.

The most basic skill an architect needs is to be able to think in three dimensions. They need to interpret and communicate three-dimensional forms in two dimensions, and vice versa. This allows them to plan their projects with accuracy, and to clearly communicate them with project partners. Visualize your designs using orthographic and isometric drawings. Then, practice pitching your concepts to clients by preparing a design proposal.

Learner Outcomes

  • Develop a strong grasp of three-dimensional thinking and spatial programming.
  • Accurately represent 3D forms in orthographic and isometric drawings.
  • Prepare a concept proposal and client presentation.

Prerequisites

Students must be 13-17 years of age.
