Course Description

In this class you will learn to draw what you see. Along the way you will find out that learning how to draw is really learning how to see. The class will include projects where you learn about materials (like pencil, charcoal and marker) and how to create a good composition. You'll learn vocabulary that artists use to talk about their work as you gain experience drawing still life, people, nature, and the environment.

Prerequisites

Students must be age 9–12 to participate.
