4618 - ePigment: An Introduction to Digital Painting

Course Description

Here is your chance to paint digitally in bitmaps and vectors, as you introduce yourself to the Adobe Suite workflow using Photoshop and Illustrator. In the first session you'll concentrate on the more approachable Photoshop, as you learn to set up and adjust your paintbrush, color palette and canvas, and then create and edit using layers. The second session introduces Adobe Illustrator topics like the blob brush vs. paint brush, shapes vs. segments, strokes, fills and gradient fills. Erasing, editing paths and adjusting layers are all demonstrated, along with a tutorial on keyboard shortcuts essential to efficient digital painting in both programs.
