Course Description

Gaining control over photography doesn't end with mastering the camera's controls. The composition of any image plays an integral role in its visual strength and impact. This workshop introduces the fundamentals of two-dimensional design more broadly, as well as in specifically photographic terms. Numerous examples from photographic history are used to illustrate each concept, and strategies are introduced for applying these ideas to students' own photography practices.
