4154 - Photographing Interiors: Capturing a Sense of Place

Course Description

Interior designers, architects and builders rely on high-quality photographs to capture their work for portfolios and marketing. This course covers the basics of shooting, including lens choices, perspective, tethering and styling. Discussions include the importance of scouting a project and preparing for an interiors shoot, and students follow along in class with demonstrations on shooting techniques. Demonstration of various post-processing techniques show how to fine-tune the final image. The instructor also shares experiences in the business of interiors photography. Note: Knowledge of digital photography (and your specific camera) and Photoshop is essential.
