How do characters move from our imaginations to our screens? Find out in this character design course for animators, illustrators, comic book creators, and motion graphic designers. Beginning with a written description, you’ll research references from history, anatomy and culture to sketch and develop the look, feel and personality for your designs. You will develop meaningful character backgrounds and understand the importance of good storytelling for strong, emotionally deep, and unique characters. You’ll also discover how to use shape, pattern and other design fundamentals to enhance your designs.
